Work Begins
Well, some of you (you know who you are) have expressed some displeasure at the fact that I came here to do something but I haven’t started doing it. Well, be displeased no more.

Rest Day
Yesterday was supposed to be the rest day. How much rest did we get? Not much. It started with, how suprisingly, rain. We went to breakfast in the rain. But it was fun. It’s not as cold and moldy as I thought. We went to the town of Warrensburg to get some provisions. Mostly, people got sleeping bags because they were cold. I couldn’t quite get that. I slept in my sleeping bag and woke up three times because of the heat. But I got myself some sunscreen. Again, it was $9.23. It’s quite right, but I still think it’s expensive. I didn’t feel like buying something special just for the party that night. If I have been notified prior to arriving, I might have brought something but now, my money is scarce.

Landed
I’m sorry but my posts from overseas will be in English. The problem is not the non-Hebrew keyboard which I have no issue with. The problem is that I’m runnin Firefox on an Ubuntu 5.10 Linux system and I don’t feel like fussing with any Linux files right now. Right now being 22:11 local time after more than 24 hours of little to no sleep. Oded, if you’re reading this and have a quick solution, put it up.

או בקיצור: “הייתי פה.” עדכון: עכשיו 3:07 לפי השעון המקומי ולפי המפה שמולי, עברנו את בוקרסט ואנחנו בדרך לבודפסט ווינה. כן, זאת דרך מוזרה להגיע לניו-יורק גם לפי דעתי. בכל מקרה, לבוינג יש נקודות חמות על המטוס. זה לא מהיר, זה לא יפה וזה לא מדהים. אבל זה עובד. זהו, עכשיו אני הולך לישון. המטוס אומר לי שיש לי בערך תשע שעות.

דבר ראשון, בקרב תמונות שאני מנהל מול מישהו התחלנו לזרוק תמונות של קלפים ובחיפוש אחר תשובה מצאתי את האתר הזה. בין אם זה מפוברק או חלק מחבילת מג’יק אמיתית, אני לא יודע. אבל זה נורא מצחיק. ובחזרה לשטויות הרגילות…

מועדון קרב בקליפורניה ודברים מוזרים אחרים
לא מזמן, באה לדבר איתי אחת הנשים היותר מוזרות אותן פגשתי. קוראים לה תרז והיא חברה בעמותה לחקר העב”מים. אני חשבתי ‘איזה יופי, בטח אסטרונומית חובבת’ אבל לא. לא כשמדובר במישהי שמטיפה לספר הזוהר ולעוד כמה דברים מוזרים אחרים. היא נתנה לי כמה עלונים לקרוא ומעיון בהם הבנתי שמדובר באנשים בלי הרבה קשר למציאות.

יום המגבת הבין-לאומי
אז היום היה יום המגבת (לכו תראו איך היה). אני מקווה שכולכם הספקתם להמיר כמה שיותר אנשים או שלפחות אמרתם להם לקרוא את הספר. אני לא אלאה אף-אחד בשום דבר כי כבר עשיתי את זה אתמול אז אני רק אצרף את התמונות שלי מהיום.
