אני רק רוצה לציין שעברתי עוד מהמורה בדרכי בעולם זה. צלחתי עוד מהמורה. עברתי עוד מכשול. אתמול, בפעם הראשונה, כיבסתי את הבגדים שלי בעצמי! עכשיו נשאר לי רק לקפוץ ממטוס, לבקר בגרנד קניון, לטפס על האוורסט ולראות את פריז. נו, טוב. רק עכשיו נזכרתי לבוא לבדוק באינטרנט איך מקפלים בגדים כמו שצריך. אני לומד. לאט לאט, אבל אני לומד. עכשיו, איך לכל הרוחות אני קובע תבנית להודעות חדשות באתר הזה?

נמאס לי ממכוניות אמריקניות. אני חוזר שוב למכתב לאמריקה לפני כמה הודעות. איך לכל הרוחות בן-אדם הגיוני מסוגל לייצר מכוניות כאלו? (תשובה אפשרית: לא בן-אדם הגיוני?) נמאס לי ממכוניות אמריקניות ונמאס לי מהארלי דווידסון ואיפה הייתה המצלמה שלי כשעברה הוייפר?

בחזרה לשגרה
השעה עכשיו 22:56 והיום ירד גשם, בכבדות משתנה, כמעט 15 שעות רצוף. וזה רק מה ששמתי לב. אני לא יודע כמה ירד לפני שהתעוררתי. אבל עכשיו הסופה התרחקה מאיתנו ובתקווה מחר אוכל לטפל בכביסה שלי. היום גיליתי ששמו לנו טלוויזיה בעמדה עם נגן DVD מובנה. היה יכול להיות נחמד אם היו מודיעים לי מראש. הייתי יכול להביא משהו לראות. כרגע אני משתמש בה רק כדי לנגן מוזיקה. גם חוסך לי כאב ראש. חוץ מזה, סיימתי היום לקרוא את הסיפור של קוני וויליס, Inside Job. אמא, עמיחי, תזכירו לי לתת לכם אותו לקרוא. זהו. אני הולך לישון. יש לי עוד משמרת ב-6:00 בבוקר.

Let’s try again
אוקיי, ניסיון מחדש. הוספתי את המקלדת בעברית ובתקווה, זה צריך לעבוד כמו שצריך. בסיכום הפרקים הקודמים, אמרתי שיש אירוע שנקרא Friday Night Live ואחריו מסיבה בטרק. לא, טרק לא קשור למסע בין כוכבים. טרק עם הקבוצה שאחראית על כל המסעות בשטח, על טיפוס על קירות, זחילה במערות, טיולים רגליים ואופניים ושדאות באופן כללי.

Going Out
Ok, quick recap. We finished moving all the bags yesterday. It took us half the night… Well, it took the maintenance staff half the night. It took us half the day. We just organized the bags into piles and the maintenance crew would pick them up and distribute them. Yonatan and Gilad wanted to take a break to watch the game at 15:00 so we came back at 17:00. The maintenance guys told us we were no longer needed so they disappeared again while I tried to wonder around and find something interesting to do. I wondered into a meeting with two parents who went to camp as kids and are now sending their kids to camp. It was quite educational. I just floated around for the rest of the day until evening time.

Work is Done
אוקיי, ניסוי בכתיבה במקלדת הוירטואלית של עודד. היא עובדת נחמד אבל לא מספיק מהר. מצטער אבא, אבל אין לי הרבה זמן להקדיש לזה כל יום ואני לא יכול לעבוד עם מקלדת שבולעת לי אותית בגלל שהיא לא עומדת בקצב. וחזרה לאנגלית…

Rest Day
Yesterday was supposed to be the rest day. How much rest did we get? Not much. It started with, how suprisingly, rain. We went to breakfast in the rain. But it was fun. It’s not as cold and moldy as I thought. We went to the town of Warrensburg to get some provisions. Mostly, people got sleeping bags because they were cold. I couldn’t quite get that. I slept in my sleeping bag and woke up three times because of the heat. But I got myself some sunscreen. Again, it was $9.23. It’s quite right, but I still think it’s expensive. I didn’t feel like buying something special just for the party that night. If I have been notified prior to arriving, I might have brought something but now, my money is scarce.

Landed
I’m sorry but my posts from overseas will be in English. The problem is not the non-Hebrew keyboard which I have no issue with. The problem is that I’m runnin Firefox on an Ubuntu 5.10 Linux system and I don’t feel like fussing with any Linux files right now. Right now being 22:11 local time after more than 24 hours of little to no sleep. Oded, if you’re reading this and have a quick solution, put it up.

Final Goodbyes
או בקיצור: “הייתי פה.” עדכון: עכשיו 3:07 לפי השעון המקומי ולפי המפה שמולי, עברנו את בוקרסט ואנחנו בדרך לבודפסט ווינה. כן, זאת דרך מוזרה להגיע לניו-יורק גם לפי דעתי. בכל מקרה, לבוינג יש נקודות חמות על המטוס. זה לא מהיר, זה לא יפה וזה לא מדהים. אבל זה עובד. זהו, עכשיו אני הולך לישון. המטוס אומר לי שיש לי בערך תשע שעות.
