The new Firefox web browser has been officially launched today. No more RC1, 2 or 3. Just go to their website and get the new version. But don’t forget it’s Mozilla Corporation now.

In case you don’t know, The Music Genome Project is a project designed to map music with codes like a DNA sequence and thus, with minor input from the user, map his favorite music.
The Project has obviously gone a long way because we now have Pandora which is the engine of the Music Genome Project. You activate it, tell it the name of a band or song you like and it will find you other songs that might interest you.
It’s iTunes based and music is streaming but in a few short hours of testing I found that the quality of sound is quite satisfying (I find no problem with it and I use amplified 100W stereo) and the song hits of the engine are also very accurate (I only disliked about 1 out of 10 songs presented.
If you don’t want to build a psuedo radio station for yourself (or you don’t have the bandwidth for it) then this is at least a decent way to aquaint yourself with new bands that might have the sound you are looking for.
Just remember. If you want to keep listening to it, then “YOU-ARE-LIVING-IN-THE-US!”. That is all.

Yesterday was probably the worst day I’ve had for a very long time.
I was supposed to get back to my base to give back all my equipment and my weapon. I wanted to go on sunday but had some trouble with the timing. I thought three hours wasn’t enough and I was right. Not, that it helped.
Today is the official, Hebrew dated, memorial day for the 10th anniversary of Prime Minister and Secretary of Security Yitzhak Rabin’s death.
I won’t say anything because I’ve already said it. And I’ve already photographed it.
I wrote this two years ago after finding out about a webpage that allows you to send notes to yourself in the future. And the photograph was taken on March of this year on an army sponsored visit to Mount Hertzel.
I only now got to write this thing down but something happened to me during Icon. Something that made it all more true that this is what I love, and this is what is fun for me.
