New Firefox 1.5!
The new Firefox web browser has been officially launched today. No more RC1, 2 or 3. Just go to their website and get the new version. But don’t forget it’s Mozilla Corporation now. Check out how store-owners are ‘buzzing’ away teens in Wales.

Opening Pandora’s Box
In case you don’t know, The Music Genome Project is a project designed to map music with codes like a DNA sequence and thus, with minor input from the user, map his favorite music. The Project has obviously gone a long way because we now have Pandora which is the engine of the Music Genome Project. You activate it, tell it the name of a band or song you like and it will find you other songs that might interest you. It’s iTunes based and music is streaming but in a few short hours of testing I found that the quality of sound is quite satisfying (I find no problem with it and I use amplified 100W stereo) and the song hits of the engine are also very accurate (I only disliked about 1 out of 10 songs presented. If you don’t want to build a psuedo radio station for yourself (or you don’t have the bandwidth for it) then this is at least a decent way to aquaint yourself with new bands that might have the sound you are looking for. Just remember. If you want to keep listening to it, then “YOU-ARE-LIVING-IN-THE-US!”. That is all.

Trouble After Trouble
Yesterday was probably the worst day I’ve had for a very long time. I was supposed to get back to my base to give back all my equipment and my weapon. I wanted to go on sunday but had some trouble with the timing. I thought three hours wasn’t enough and I was right. Not, that it helped.

Yitzhak Rabin, R.I.P.
Today is the official, Hebrew dated, memorial day for the 10th anniversary of Prime Minister and Secretary of Security Yitzhak Rabin’s death. I won’t say anything because I’ve already said it. And I’ve already photographed it. I wrote this two years ago after finding out about a webpage that allows you to send notes to yourself in the future. And the photograph was taken on March of this year on an army sponsored visit to Mount Hertzel.
