A Fan Call for HTTP
Well, this appeared on my brother’s blog today. Unfortunately, he was very poor in his post as to explain what “this” is all about. What is it about? Well, apparently, if you enter a botched up URL (http//www.something.com) on your web browser, be it even Mozilla or Firefox, it will shortly lead you to Microsoft’s page. Do not attempt to adjust your browser! This is not a problem with it but with Google. Why Google? Good question. Apparently, if Firefox or Mozilla can not locate the address you were addressing then it just performs a quick “I’m Feeling Lucky” search in Google and takes you there. Most fucked-uply, because of Google’s page ranking system, Microsoft is the number one on the list and the W3 Consortium is only second. What should we do? You should post things about HTTP, with links attached, that has nothing to do with Microsoft. Do it now, right now! Go to message boards, forums, blogs, comment sites and do it. If there is enough links linking back to other pages, then Microsoft’s rating should diminish. Go for it! Seize the Day!

The Ups and Downs of Growing Up
I’m sure you’ve all seen this recently. Kids are growing up faster. Wether we like it or not, the age of mental maturity is going down at an alarming rate with no consequence for physical maturaity. It is actually approaching the age of maturity perceived and required of boys and girls in old times. You’ve all probably seen the news in the past months. Teenage boys molest other teenage boys. Rape is a common thing around the age of 14. Kids bring knives to school. 10-year-olds get kitchen knives and stab 6-year-olds. And the one that bothered me most was the brutalness of kindergarden children.

It’s Draw Bat-Girl Day!

News Flash: Extra! Extra! Read All About It!
Today on the Less Interesting Times we have a new and refurbished edition. Coming to you live in five. The top stories are as follows: Over 2,000 kids in Israel last year arrived at the brink of hospitalization becuase of parent abuse. Somehow, not enough people see it as severely and the situation continues. What the fuck is wrong with people? We’re talking about a child of 3 to 7 years old who is beaten by his father or mother to the point where serious medical attention is needed. Does it not strike anyone as particulary wrong? Because it sure pisses the hell out of me.
