לרמות ולשקר קודם
אין אחד מאיתנו שאומר את האמת תמיד, תמיד עושה מה שאומרים לו ותמיד משחק לפי החוקים. כל אחד עושה משהו אסור מדי פעם. אז הנה טיפ שאני חושב שכדאי להפיץ: “אם אתם נמצאים במקום מסוים ומצפים ממכם לעשות משהו אבל אתם גם רוצים לעשות משהו שלא רק שלא מצפים אלא אתם גם לא אמורים לעשות, תעשו את מה שאסור קודם. יהיה פחות סיכוי שיתפסו אתכם.”
תנו לי לסיים את הקורס בהסתברות ואז אני אולי גם אוכל להוכיח למה זה נכון.

it is far easier and more successful to hide things in plain sight.
people are more keen to find the invisible trap door they can’t find then to accept there is no trap door when they expect to find one.
people are really good at telling themselves what reality should be and then cutting out whatever evidence reality shows that do not fit the picture they hold in their heads.
if you want big examples:
the Earth used to be considered flat
if theres no bread eat cake
intelligent design is just as valid an explanation as life sciences
remember the 11th commandment:
do not get caught.
about cheating first or cheating second- its a common idea in Game Theory
I actually studied this last year.
the idea goes like this:
if there is a single occurrence type of interaction
and the person you meet is not someone you will meet ever again
then it is beneficial for you to cheat first, assuming the other person is not cheating you at the same time.
however- in a society of human beings people do remember and act according to their experience and your reputation.
they do retaliate and they do meet you again.
so bottom line is- it is always best to be nice first and retaliate if being cheated.

לא זה מה שניסיתי להגיד אבל אני כן מכיר את הרעיון. ריצ’ארד דוקינס הציג אותו באחד הסרטים שלו. מבין כל השיטות שהוא הריץ, זאת שמחזירה טובה תחת טובה ושן תחת שן הצליחה הכי הרבה. ואני חושב שזאת דרך טובה לחיים.
בקשר לכדור הארץ, אני חושב שאת המשפט הכי טוב בנושא שמעתי באיזה קורס באסטרונומיה:
“כולם חשבו שהשמש מסתובבת סביב כדור הארץ כי ככה זה נראה?”
“ואיך זה היה נראה אם כדור הארץ היה מסתובב סביב הציר שלו?”
