    I think I’m just going to ignore this year and wait for the next one. Hopefully, 30 will be more exciting. In the mean time, I’ll settle on the idea that Maayan had a good enough birthday and she made mine worth it.

      30 was the best year of my life (until 33 overtook it).

      but don’t give up on this one. how about you celebrate your 29.5 birthday instead? half birthdays are fun too.
