Leslie Nielsen was just one of those guys. Those actors that aren’t out in the spotlight, aren’t raking in multimillion dollar checks, but when you look at their history, you can see they made an impact, you remember them.<\/p>\n

Leslie Nielsen was like that. And that’s why, even when he’s dead, we still have fond memories<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I didn’t even know he did stage shows, that he did seriously dramatic and self-inspecting roles. I knew him first through The Naked Gun series<\/a>, then Airplane<\/a> and even Spy Hard was funny.<\/p>\n

Yes, his movies got stupider as they came but he was still awesome. I even watched the original Police Squad series not long ago and it was still funny.<\/p>\n

I mean, he’s wasn’t an Einstein or Paster but he was great in his own way and shouldn’t be ignored, even if he didn’t grab spotlights all the time. I’m just saying it’s too bad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
